…is a credited animation artist on dozens of feature films, including The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King. He contributed his many creative and management talents to more than 16 Disney animated features, and is known for restoring the maquette sculpting process to modern animation. His Ursula maquette from The Little Mermaid appears in the Smithsonian Museum.

In 2003 Ruben founded Masked Avenger Studios, reflecting his lifelong love for the masked heroes of yesteryear and providing comics, animation, storyboarding, sculpting, visual development, design and illustration services to a wide range of clients. Rubén is currently a storyboard artist at Warner Brothers Animation on film projects featuring Tom & Jerry, Scooby Doo, LEGO characters, including Batman: The Return of the Caped Crusader! Ruben resides in longtime hometown Burbank, CA with his wife and pets.
